Join us for a VIRTUAL Satilla Celebration on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2021

Our annual Satilla Riverkeeper Gala at the Stricklands’ Lodge has long been a celebration we look forward to each year. With concerns around COVID-19 and large in-person gatherings, we have decided to cancel the 2020 Gala. We cannot put the health and well-being of our guests, volunteers, staff, and supporters at risk.

So, instead, we will be hosting a Virtual Satilla Celebration on Saturday, August 8th. We may have to be apart during this special annual event, but we can still come together to help move the mission of Satilla Riverkeeper forward--to protect and restore our beautiful river as well as educate our community and leaders about our unique watershed. We invite you to join us in reimagining this popular celebration.

Your donations support our work. For over 15 years, the Satilla Riverkeeper has been a nonprofit advocate for the unique Satilla River. We build appreciation for the river. We watch out for environmental harm, we educate, and we provide assistance that can help prevent problems. The diligence, knowledge, and communication required for our efforts are very costly.
